Controlling and Processing Information

Data Controller

A “controller” is the legal entity that, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data. QuadRite is the data controller for data.

Data Processor

A “processor” is a legal entity or other body that processes data on behalf of the controller, as defined above. QuadRite may use various data processors with which we have data processing agreements/QuadRite is also the primary data processor for data described in this policy.

We have a lawful basis and a legitimate interest in collecting, retaining, and processing your data.  

Collection

You may browse our site without providing us with any personal data.  If you choose to open an account with us, request a demo, contact us for more information on our products,  make a purchase, or otherwise have greater access to our site and our products, we may collect data and personally identifiable information (hereinafter “data”) from you in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when you visit our site, create and log into our account, fill out a form, contact us by email or traditional mail, apply for employment; and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available in connection with our site. You may be asked for, as appropriate, your name, company name, email address, mailing address, and/or telephone number.

When you visit and/or interact with our site, we also collect limited data that the browser you use makes available automatically. This information includes the internet address of the computer or network you used to access our site, the date, time, and page(s) you visited on our Sites, the browser and operating system you used, and the referring page (the webpage that contained the link to one of our Sites that you clicked on to get there).  Once you leave our site, you have the right not to be followed. When you first access our home page, you will see at the top of the page an option to allow or reject cookies. Please see our section below on cookies, where we identify the digital content we collect when you visit our site, some of which is necessary to properly navigate the site.

Use

We have a legitimate interest in ensuring that our site operates correctly and efficiently. To that end, we may use the aggregated nonpersonal data and information from all users of our site and products therein to measure server performance, analyze user traffic patterns, and improve the content of our site and portions of our site. We sometimes track the key clicks to review a particular solution to measure interest in specific topics and to improve the visitor experience on the site.

We have a legitimate interest in communicating with you when you contact us, and will use your data to respond to you, including sending you important non-commercial emails, such as responses to customer service or demo/free trial inquiries or in connection with evaluating job candidates. Please note, however, that this policy does not apply to employee data. If you are an employee of QuadRite, please contact your supervisor or HR representative to obtain a copy of the employee data privacy policy.

With your consent, we will use your e-mail address and/or other personal information to provide you with information we think you will be interested in, including company news and related product or service information, and marketing content. Even after you have agreed to receive such messages, you can let us know at any time if you would prefer not to receive any or all of this marketing/investor information by following the unsubscribe instructions contained in any email you receive from us or by sending an e-mail to info@quadrite.com  that contains the email address you wish us to unsubscribe from our lists. As noted above, even if you opt-out of receiving marketing messages, we will still send you important non-commercial messages as long as you have an account with us or have downloaded a product.  These non-commercial messages may pertain to software updates or other administrative

We have a legitimate interest in complying with our legal obligations. Accordingly, we may release user data if we believe in good faith that: the law or legal process requires it; we have received a valid subpoena, or exigent circumstances request from a law enforcement agency; or such release is necessary to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our respective affiliates, business partners, customers, or others.

QuadRite may also use third-parties to process user data when it serves a legitimate business purpose (such as technical support). Our contracts with these third-party processors require them to comply with the terms and the intent of this privacy policy, and make commercially reasonable efforts to safeguard your information.

Access

Pursuant to your reasonable request, we will provide you or a third-party you specify with a list of all of the personal data that QuadRite has collected and/or shared, in a form that is portable to you. Depending upon your geographic location, we may charge a small fee to collect this information in a portable fashion. Similarly, upon your request, we will make corrections to our records of your personal data.  You may send an email to us at info@quadrite.com with your request. Please be sure to provide all relevant email addresses associated with your request.

Retention and Deletion

Your data is stored and processed in the United States of America.  

We keep your data only for as long as we have a legitimate business purpose, and only that data is required for the particular purpose for which we collected the data. We will retain your data while you have an active relationship with QuadRite, including if you have subscribed to a newsletter, opted in to receive commercial and marketing content from us, or if you have affirmatively made requests of us that we, or our data processors, are fulfilling. If you have downloaded one of our software products, we will retain that information necessary to contact you for administrative purposes, even if you have not opted in to receive commercial messages.  

If you would like us to delete all of your data (including any personal information gathered by our service providers) and/or place your name on our “do not contact” list, contact us at info@quadrite.com include GPDR Delete Request in the subject line, and request that your information be deleted and/or that you be placed on our “do not contact” list. Please note that because names may be similar, you must include in your request all associated email addresses and phone numbers (if any) that you wish to be deleted in the body of the email. We reserve the right to contact you for administrative purposes to request more information in order to assist us in completed your request. We may also send you a confirmation email, once we have deleted your information. Please note that if you have downloaded or used our software products and you subsequently request that we delete all your information, you will no longer receive software updates or administrative messages of any kind.  We will make commercially reasonable efforts to delete your information within thirty days from our active files, provided, however, that we may retain—for legal compliance purposes only—your request and associated email in a hashed format so that we do not inadvertently restore your information to our database. You may also request that we stop processing your information without deleting it, and we will comply within five days of receipt of such a request.

Notwithstanding the above, QuadRite will retain your information indefinitely if it believes in good faith that it has a legal obligation to do so.

Cookies

Certain cookies placed by our site do not collect any personal information and are essential to the provision of a functional website and/or app, which we have a legitimate interest in providing (these are known as “Necessary Cookies” and include cookies that drive your navigation on our Site). The use of cookies is a standard practice among Internet websites and most Internet web browsers may be customized to reject cookies, to only accept or reject cookies by user intervention, or to delete cookies. However, some features may not function properly if all cookies are blocked, as discussed above. Necessary Cookies are required for functionality of the Sites, and when you leave the Sites’ environment, those cookies are no longer stored.

Children

The QuadRite site is a general audience website, intended for adult use. We do not market to, and do not knowingly collect any data from, children under sixteen (16) years of age. Please contact our customer service department if you are aware of any personal information supplied to the Site by a child under the age of sixteen (16).

Do Not Track

The Do-Not-Track Signal (“DNT”) is used by some web browsers to automatically request that a web application disable site tracking. Because the DNT often does not reflect the actual preferences of an individual consumer, our websites do not respond to the DNT.  Your browser, and this privacy policy provides you with instructions and information on how to disable cookies.

Our Sites may contain links to other sites. Those sites may have their own privacy policies, or no privacy policies at all. QuadRite is not responsible for the privacy practices employed by other sites and those other sites have or may not have agreed to our privacy policy. QuadRite has no control over or responsibility for any unaffiliated third-party sites or the content contained in them, and we provide these links solely for the convenience of our visitors. We do not sponsor, endorse, or otherwise recommend such sites and only endorse QuadRite products on those sites. In short, once you leave our Site, we are no longer responsible for the collection practices of the companies operating those sites.

Policy Changes

We reserve the right to change, modify, add, or remove any portion of this Privacy Policy, in whole or in part, at any time. Modification of changes to this policy will be disseminated via our Sites. By using the site you agree to be bound by any such revisions and should therefore periodically visit this page to determine the then current privacy policy to which you are bound.

Security Measures

QuadRite take all practical security measures to protect your data. QuadRite also utilizes HubSpot, which uses HTTPS. Any user data that QuadRite collects is also stored with HubSpot.
